The road repair patcher creates a homogeneous mixture of chippings and bituminous emulsion, which is blown at high velocity onto the damaged part of the road. The bitumen container holds 500 litres and is heated with a gas burner. The chippings in a 2.3 m³ silo can also be heated.

The entire four-piece extension arm with the mixing head is front mounted on the quick-change vehicle plate of the UNIMOG. The arm is very flexible and can be swivelled over the work space from the driver’s seat via a hydraulic slewing mechanism.

The operator can control the entire repair operation with two joysticks and does not need to leave the vehicle to do so. He thus has an excellent view and is not exposed to bitumen fumes.
